A straightforward but heavy-hitting melee build that revolves around Pulverize, Overpower, and Critical damage that is boosted by the Tempting Fate and The Barber hearts. Our core skill is taken to the extreme with the addition of Ursine Horror, Shockwave, Expectant, and Ballistic aspects. This is taken even further by doubling down Druid's effectiveness at stacking Fortify through Earthen Bulwark, Trample, and Grizzly Rage.

Item Type | Effect |

Sapphire (Weapon) | +% Critical Strike Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies |
Ruby (Armor) | +% Maximum Life |
The Barber | Type: WrathfulCritical Strikes and all subsequent damage within 2.0-4.0 seconds is absorbed by your target. Then, the absorbed damage erupts onto surrounding enemies. Stored damage is increased by 10% per second. |
Revenge | Type: Brutal10-20% of incoming damage is instead suppressed. When you use a Defensive, Subterfuge or a Macabre skill, all suppressed damage is amplified by 250% and explodes, dealing up to 1360-2040 Fire damage to Nearby enemies. |
Tempting Fate | Type: ViciousYou gain 40-60% Critical Strike Damage but your Non-Critical Strikes deal 20-15% less damage. |
This is the best gem setup for this build as Sapphire increases your critical damage to crowd-controlled enemies which is further boosted by the Tempting Fate and Barber hearts; ultimately allowing you to breeze through mobs in a few casts of Pulverize.

Pulverize Werebear Playstyle
Pulverize Werebear Build Tips |
---|
|
Pulverize Close to the Enemy
It is advantageous to cast Pulverize near the enemy, as you will get two hits instead of one: the Pulverize itself plus the Shockwave. Take advantage of this by casting it close to the enemies as much as possible.
Maintain Grizzly Form as Often as Possible
Grizzly Rage is one of our highest source of damage as you will keep on ramping up Critical Strike Damage when you're in this form. Don't forget to take Calamity and Calm Before the Storm Spirit Boons to have this form up as often as possible.
Activate Hurricane Before Using Grizzly Rage
You won't be able to use Hurricane as you switch into Grizzly Rage so you must cast it before changing forms. This is a great skill to activate Vulnerable and slow to enemies, as well as to easily increase the Critical Strike Damage stack you get in Grizzly Rage since it's a multiple-hit skill.
