ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown's mayor found himself having to make a trip to the city's parking authority to pay a parking ticket.

Mayor Matt Tuerk posted a photo of himself holding the ticket, and thanked the Parking Authority employee who helped him.

He wrote "Mayors get— and pay— parking tickets, too!"

Tuerk also reminded people that City Council recently voted to increase parking violation fines.

The increase starts on July 1.
